UX + UI design for a creator-first live streaming app
Building on the foundation and insights from our large-scale enterprise activations, we developed EZstream as a standalone, direct-to-consumer product designed to empower everyday creators. After more than half of the company was let go, I stepped in as the sole (self-taught) designer and took on full creative ownership of the product, from naming and branding to feature design and visual identity.
Over the past two years, I worked closely with a small, scrappy team to build EZstream from the ground up. I led all design efforts while collaborating on strategy, testing, beta trials, and creator outreach to ensure the app truly met the needs of real users.
With complete creative freedom, I defined what EZstream would look and feel like: a bold, approachable, and creator-first tool designed to make professional live streaming accessible to anyone. Key features I designed included a guided onboarding flow, multistream setup (so creators can broadcast to multiple platforms at once), customizable overlays, in-app stream health monitoring, and a simplified paywall system.
Beyond in-app design, I also created all app store assets, marketing visuals, and brand collateral, ensuring a seamless and cohesive experience from first impression to active use.
This project highlights my ability to fully own a product vision — shaping everything from strategy and brand direction to detailed UX flows and polished UI — while working hand-in-hand with a small team to iterate quickly and meaningfully.
Screens showcase creator onboarding, multistream setup, customizable overlays, paywall design, and App Store feature panels — all fully designed and executed by me.

I was responsible for the design and implementation of new features such as "disconnect protection" which allows creators to let their audience know there are connection issues without ending their stream.
EZstream's app interface was designed by me in its entirety, supporting features like dual camera, live chat, viewer count, and much more. Here you can see a mockup I created on figma showing chats from multiple platforms coming in.
